POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Coordinator of Brand & Product Marketing reports to the Senior Director of Brand & Product Marketing and will be responsible for assisting the team in all brand efforts that directly impact business decisions across product and brand strategy. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and proactive. The Sr. Coordinator supports the day-to-day development and execution of 360 marketing programs across new product launches, core categories, and brand campaigns. You’ll work cross-functionally to bring the Rare Beauty vision to life across every touchpoint.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Marketing Support
- Support the development and execution of brand campaigns and product launches, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Manage and maintain key marketing tools, including launch timelines, marketing calendars, creative workback schedules, and campaign trackers.
- Upload and track briefs, copy requests, and asset needs ensuring timely routing, feedback, and approvals.
- Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional meetings, own scheduling, note-taking, and recaps to keep teams aligned.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Brand & Product Marketing team and assist in ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Product Marketing
- Conduct competitive and category research to inform positioning, pricing, claims, and innovation strategy.
- Assist with product messaging, claims development, and copywriting in partnership with the Managers of Brand & Product Marketing.
- Create and update sell-in materials, including product sell sheets and messaging decks, for internal and retail-facing use.
- Coordinate translations, proofread gondola artwork, and manage copy updates for seasonal campaigns.
- Assist with management of ratings and reviews for core and new products to support franchise growth and brand equity.
- Own merchandise launches and additional collateral products launches per season.
Brand Marketing
- Contribute to campaign concepting and creative development, including brainstorms for new product launches, big ideas, taglines, and themes.
- Draft creative briefs, product detail page (PDP) checklists, and video scripts for e-retail use.
- Assist with campaign photoshoot planning, asset review, and retouching feedback as needed.
- Routinely review and QA PDPs on retailer dotcoms to ensure consistency and freshness.
REQUIRMENTS
- 2–4 years of professional experience in beauty marketing or a related consumer-focused industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Asana, Trello) is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; able to clearly synthesize information and collaborate across teams.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Genuine passion for the beauty industry and curiosity about trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape.
