Remedy Science was founded by Dr. Muneeb Shah, a board-certified dermatologist who built the brand out of an obsession with the problems he sees in the clinic every day. That same obsession has earned him 20M+ social media followers and made him one of the most trusted voices in skin health. Every Remedy formula starts with a real patient need and the conviction that we can solve it better.
Today Remedy is an omni-channel brand — DTC, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and full chain distribution at Target. Core to our mission is that seriously effective, dermatologist-proven results should be accessible. That means showing up everywhere our customers already shop.
Remedy is backed by some of the leading consumer investors in the world, including L Catterton, Norwest Venture Partners and Sonoma Brands.
The Role
We are looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to own how Remedy measures, understands, and scales paid demand. This is a senior, strategic mandate built on two engines: a measurement engine anchored in Northbeam multi-touch attribution that serves as our single source of truth, and a creative engine on Meta that turns performance data into a relentless stream of winning ads.
You will own our Meta spend and scaling strategy — setting the account architecture, budgets, and testing roadmap — while a media buyer and agency partners handle day-to-day execution in the account. Your edge is not clicking every button; it is knowing exactly which creative, audience, and offer decisions to make because you own the analytics that reveal them. You will partner closely with a Creative Strategist, feeding them the creative analytics and briefs that drive our Meta creative production loop.
This person is equal parts analytical and creative: architecting rigorous attribution and creative-analytics systems, then translating those insights into hooks, concepts, and messaging that compound into brand equity. Meta is the primary growth engine; Snapchat, Reddit, and emerging channels are run as secondary, always-on testing bets.
What You'll Own
Attribution & Measurement
- Northbeam Ownership: Own Northbeam as the company’s multi-touch attribution source of truth — configuration, data integrity, spend mapping, and model governance across all paid channels.
- Single Source of Truth: Establish and defend a single, trusted view of blended ROAS, MER, CAC, and new-customer efficiency that leadership and finance plan against.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile Northbeam MTA against platform-reported numbers, Meta’s in-account signals, and post-purchase survey data to resolve discrepancies and guide budget allocation.
- Incrementality: Set incrementality and testing standards (geo-lift, holdouts, MMM inputs) so scaling decisions are grounded in true contribution, not last-click noise.
Creative Analytics & the Meta Creative Engine
- Creative Performance: Own creative analytics end to end — Hook Rate, Hold Rate, thumb-stop, CTR, and cost-per-result at the ad and concept level — and turn it into a clear read on what is working and why.
- Creative Partnership: Partner with the Creative Strategist as their analytical counterpart: supply data-backed briefs, name the winning and losing patterns, and co-own the roadmap for the next wave of concepts, hooks, and iterations.
- Testing Velocity: Run the Meta creative testing engine — a high-velocity framework for launching, reading, and scaling new creative so the account never starves for fresh winners.
- Creator Amplification: Partner with the Influencer team to identify high-performing creator content for whitelisting and paid amplification.
Paid Media Ownership & Scaling (Meta-First)
- Meta P&L: Own the Meta P&L, budget strategy, and account architecture; direct a media buyer and agency partners on day-to-day execution and hold them to efficiency targets at scale.
- Scaling Strategy: Set the scaling strategy — how we push spend while protecting efficiency — and make the call on where budget flexes week to week.
- Channel Diversification: Run Snapchat, Reddit, and new channels as a secondary, always-on testing portfolio to diversify demand and reduce single-platform reliance.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Team Building: Build and lead a small growth team (media buyer, growth analyst), setting standards, priorities, and a culture of rigorous, fast decision-making.
- E-Commerce Partnership: Partner with the E-commerce team to build, test, and optimize high-converting landing pages and post-purchase upsell flows.
- Retail Partnership: Partner with Retail to execute geo-targeted digital strategies that drive velocity at Target and other retail partners.
What You Bring
- Experience: 6+ years in growth or performance marketing, including hands-on ownership of paid social at scale and at least 2 years leading people or agency partners.
- Attribution Ownership: Deep, demonstrable fluency with Northbeam (or comparable multi-touch attribution such as Triple Whale) — you have configured it, governed it, and made real budget decisions from it.
- Creative Analytics: You live in creative performance data and can translate Hook Rate, Hold Rate, and CTR into briefs a creative team can act on.
- Meta Expertise: Deep, hands-on mastery of Meta Ads — account architecture, testing, and scaling — even as you increasingly direct rather than execute.
- Analytical Horsepower: Expert in Google Sheets/Excel; comfortable with BI or SQL a plus. You reliably find the “why” behind the numbers.
- Creative Intuition: You understand the psychology of a scroll-stopping hook and can articulate it to a creative partner.
- Operating Style: You move fast, operate with high ownership in a lean, founder-led environment, and manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables cleanly.
- Mindset: Humility, curiosity, and a desire to build the next legacy giant in dermo-cosmetic skincare.
