About the role

Due to growth, we are looking for a dynamic Store Manager for our greater-Boston area locations. The Store Manager effectively leads, develops, and supports a best-in-class team to create inspiring and exceptional customer experiences, and help set the tone for the store team as they help customers discover and deepen their connection with Long's throughout their visit and beyond. This role is fully immersed in the development of the store's talent and culture, with direct impact to the employee and customer experience. Acting as a constant presence on the sales floor, you will foster and maintain a safe, equitable, and inclusive environment for both store teams and customers.

Essential Job Functions / Core Responsibilities

  • Focus on deepening the relationship with our customers to achieve positive sales results and to drive generational loyalty and spend.
  • Champion and drive client development activity among individual team members to cultivate new and existing customers.
  • Demonstrate leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor and managing client relationships personally.
  • Elevate the in-store experience through the creation of unique experiences and consistently delivering memorable moments.
  • Accurately assess capabilities of team members and build individual growth plans to support on-going learning and development, including taking an active role in quarterly and annual performance appraisals.
  • Network and recruit talent to build a pipeline of diverse and highly skilled candidates.
  • Support the efforts of creating a culture of clear and open communication with team members and effectively share constructive feedback in a proactive manner.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of progressive experience leading teams in a luxury retail environment or related experience (e.g. hospitality).
  • Exceptional coaching, motivational and team-building skills a must, with a focus on an influencing mindset. Ability to grow highly capable, diverse teams.
  • Proven results-oriented track record in client development, meeting sales goals, and market penetration.
  • Demonstrated ability to employ outstanding communication practices to foster a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive environment.
  • Champion and highly comfortable with adapting to the latest technology to support the needs of the business.
  • Desire and willingness to roll up your sleeves and jump in when the situation requires it.

The base salary range above represents the low and high end of Long's Jewelers salary range for this position. Actual salaries vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, contribution to the success of the company, and performance.

The range listed is just one component of Long's Jewelers total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and program-specific awards.
