About the role

Role Description

The Store Operations Associate will be part of the Bonnie Clyde retail team at our Downtown Los Angeles store. This role supports both the customer experience and the day-to-day operations behind the store, including inventory, fulfillment, merchandising, events, and general operational support.

You'll work closely with the retail and operations teams to create a welcoming and memorable customer experience while making sure the store and back-of-house operations run smoothly.

We're looking for someone who is personable, proactive, organized, and genuinely interested in fashion, eyewear, design, and culture. The right person should enjoy working with customers while also being comfortable with the hands-on operational work that keeps the store running.

Both part-time and full-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

  • Provide knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging customer service in-store.
  • Assist customers with styling, product questions, and general support.
  • Build genuine relationships with customers and make thoughtful product recommendations based on their needs and personal style.
  • Contribute to store performance through strong customer experiences, product knowledge, and brand-aligned engagement.

Order Processing & Transactions

  • Accurately process purchases through the POS system.
  • Manage returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist with customer orders and other transaction-related needs.

Store Operations & Merchandising

  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, and daily maintenance.
  • Maintain an organized, welcoming, and brand-aligned store environment.
  • Support merchandising, restocking, and display updates to reflect Bonnie Clyde's visual identity.

Inventory, Fulfillment & Logistics

  • Pick, pack, and ship online and in-store orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive deliveries, process returns, and maintain organized backstock and warehouse areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment, counts, and inventory audits.
  • Inspect products for defects and accuracy before packing or placing them on the sales floor.
  • Keep back-of-house and warehouse areas clean, organized, and efficient.
  • Follow established safety and operational procedures.

Social Media & Content Support

  • Help capture in-store content, including photos, videos, product highlights, and store moments.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team as needed to support campaigns and brand storytelling.

Events & Brand Activations

  • Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of store events, activations, and pop-ups.
  • Represent Bonnie Clyde with professionalism and warmth at events and other brand activations.

Operational & Team Support

  • Work cross-functionally to meet weekly operational and customer experience goals.
  • Support PR pulls, gifting, order fulfillment, operational errands, and other needs as they come up.
  • Take initiative and help solve problems rather than waiting to be directed.
  • Contribute to a safe, organized, efficient, and positive store environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in retail, inventory, fulfillment, warehouse operations, hospitality, customer service, or a related environment preferred.
  • Strong customer experience and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident engaging with different types of customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Comfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with hands-on operational work.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes, perform physical tasks, and stand for extended periods.
  • Able to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Comfortable taking direct feedback, learning quickly, and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Positive, resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Availability to work in person at our Downt
