About the Role

We are looking for an experienced *Shopify Developer* to build, maintain, and optimize PROTOUCH’s Shopify store and support the overall growth of our D2C ecommerce business.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with *Shopify, Shopify Liquid, theme development, customizations, integrations, and website performance optimization*, along with a good understanding of ecommerce user experience and conversion.

### Key Responsibilities

*Shopify Development & Customization*

* Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores based on business requirements.

* Build and modify Shopify themes using *Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript*.

* Develop custom sections, templates, landing pages, and storefront features.

* Implement responsive and user-friendly website experiences across desktop and mobile.

*Ecommerce Optimization*

* Optimize the Shopify store for speed, performance, usability, and conversion.

* Identify and implement improvements across product pages, collections, navigation, checkout, and customer journeys.

* Work closely with the ecommerce and marketing teams to implement campaigns, offers, landing pages, and promotional activities.

*Apps & Integrations*

* Install, configure, customize, and manage Shopify apps and third-party integrations.

* Integrate tools related to payments, shipping, CRM, analytics, marketing, reviews, and customer engagement.

* Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure smooth functioning of the website.

*Maintenance & Troubleshooting*

* Monitor website performance and resolve technical issues promptly.

* Identify bugs, errors, broken functionalities, and performance issues.

* Manage regular website updates, improvements, and technical maintenance.

* Ensure website functionality remains stable during high-traffic campaigns and launches.

*Analytics & CRO*

* Use Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and other relevant tools to monitor website performance.

* Analyze user behavior, conversion rates, and customer journeys.

* Implement A/B testing and conversion optimization initiatives where required.

*Cross-functional Collaboration*

* Work closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, Design, and Content teams.

* Translate business and campaign requirements into effective Shopify solutions.

* Support new product launches, website campaigns, and promotional activities.

What We’re Looking For

* *3–4 years of hands-on experience in Shopify Development.*

* Strong proficiency in *Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript*.

* Experience in Shopify theme development and customization.

* Strong understanding of Shopify store architecture and ecommerce functionality.

* Experience with Shopify apps, APIs, and third-party integrations.

* Good understanding of responsive design, website performance, and UX.

* Experience with ecommerce analytics and conversion optimization is preferred.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.

* Experience with *D2C, ecommerce, personal care, beauty, consumer brands, or retail* is preferred.
