About the role

Job responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the annual brand and product marketing strategy to drive brand growth and business performance in Japan.
  2. Define local marketing priorities based on consumer insights, market trends, business objectives aligned with Global HQ and APAC
  3. Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, influencer, retail, experiential, CRM, and e-commerce channels.
  4. Drive successful product launches through localized go-to-market strategies and cross-functional execution.
  5. Build and strengthen Amazfit's brand positioning by ensuring consistent brand identity, messaging, visual standards, and customer experience across all consumer touchpoints.
  6. Manage external agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns, operational excellence, and strong return on marketing investment.
  7. Own the Japan marketing budget, performance reporting, and ROI optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field
  • Language proficiency: mothertongue Japanese, business level English ( spoken and written)
  • 10+ years of marketing experience in consumer electronics, sports , fitness, technology or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven success managing integrated marketing campaigns & launching consumer products in Japanese markets.
  • Have good connections and have experience in managing external agencies ( PR, creatives, media, KOL/ Influencer)
  • Used to work in a fast-moving and changing environment and be able to work under pressure;
  • Self-starter / self-motivated but determined to get the results
  • Agile style and embraces changes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaborations
  • Passionate in sports, will be a plus point
