Role Description

The Ecommerce Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lake Oswego, OR. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation and merchandising of Nike Strength’s direct-to-consumer storefronts on Shopify and its product presence on Amazon. The manager also drives paid media creative strategy and contributes to email marketing. Day-to-day tasks include merchandising the site around available inventory, building and maintaining product bundles, managing product detail pages and catalog data, and keeping collections, pricing, and promotions accurate across markets. The manager will set up, QA, and launch site tests in partnership with the ecommerce and CRO leads. They will also own Amazon listings and content, including detail pages, A+ content, variations, and Vendor Central case resolution.

On paid media, the manager will help develop creative strategy by analyzing ad performance, finding winning concepts, hooks, and angles, and briefing new creative for production with agency and design partners. The manager will also ideate and build landing pages that pair with that creative. Together they create full-funnel experiences that carry a customer from ad to landing page to product page to checkout. On email, the manager will help plan, build, and QA campaigns and automated flows that line up with site and paid media priorities. The manager will use AI tools and automated workflows to speed up merchandising, creative development, landing page builds, and reporting. They will also help build and improve the team’s AI-enabled processes over time. The role works cross-functionally with brand, product, operations, and marketing teams to make sure launches go live on time across site, email, and paid channels. Site and channel performance is tracked and reported to support continuous improvement against business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have hands-on experience with Shopify administration, including products, variants, collections, metafields, pricing, and theme content.
  • Candidates should have experience developing paid social creative strategy, especially on Meta. That includes reading creative performance data (hook rate, CTR, ROAS, CPA), finding winning concepts, and writing clear creative briefs.
  • Candidates should have experience ideating and building ecommerce landing pages that convert. A strong grasp of full-funnel thinking, message match, and conversion best practices is required.
  • Candidates should have hands-on experience with AI systems that goes well beyond chat prompting. That includes building multi-step AI workflows and connecting AI tools to business systems like Shopify, Klaviyo, ad platforms, analytics, and project management tools through integrations, APIs, MCP connectors, or automation platforms like Make or Zapier.
  • Candidates should be able to design, run, and maintain AI-assisted processes from end to end, such as automated reporting, creative analysis, content and copy generation at scale, or catalog updates. They should also be able to judge when AI output needs a human to check it before it goes live.
  • Candidates should have experience managing Amazon listings and catalog content, including detail pages, A+ content, and variation families. Vendor Central experience is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates should have experience supporting email marketing, including campaign builds, segmentation, flows, and QA. Klaviyo experience is a plus.
  • Candidates should have strong analytical skills to read site, product, and channel performance data, spot merchandising and marketing opportunities, and support data-informed decisions.
  • Candidates should be able to execute and QA site experiments (A/B tests, page and PDP changes) with attention to detail and a bias for clean launches.
  • Candidates should have strong communication skills to work with internal teams, agencies, and external partners and to escalate and resolve issues quickly.
  • Relevant experience in ecommerce, performance marketing, merchandising, or marketplace management within sporting goods, fitness equipment, apparel, or consumer products is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, ecommerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple launches, campaigns, and deadlines.
  • A portfolio or examples of ad creative, landing page work, and AI workflows or automations you’ve built is a plus.
