About the role

Job Overview

Based at our head office in Camden, London, this role is responsible for actively managing and optimising online content for the French Connection UK and French Connection EU websites, and partners, delivering the best possible customer experience. Reporting to the Ecommerce Trading Manager you will support trading performance, maximise conversion and drive profitable growth.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the product and collection maintenance – Advising the Admin Assistant on priorities, making changes to collections based on trade performance, testing and reporting to the Trading Manager on changes being made.
  • Ensuring product information, pricing, imagery, descriptions and stock availability are accurate. Supporting the Admin Assistant in launching these, aligning with our launch calendar and business needs based on trade. Working closely with the studio team to ensure all assets are delivered within the required time frame and uploaded to the CMS.
  • Monitoring and analysing performance across key ecommerce KPIs including sales, conversion, AOV and margin. In team trade meetings then sharing actionable insights from reporting and analysis.
  • Briefing in all new site content with the digital designer – Deciding which collections should be featured based on current and projected performance including homepage updates, onsite page builds and ecommerce content execution. Providing data led recommendations for wire frames and content look and structure
  • Scheduling all content to go live on time according to the trade calendar
  • Supporting in A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation activity, bringing A/B testing ideas and attending weekly calls with the provider to optimise
  • Responsible for any reports about homepage and content performance including heatmapping, GA4 reporting and A/B testing
  • Launching all promotions adhering to deadlines. Briefing in the content, amending merchandising rules based on promotion needs, communicating with the wider teams all details of the upcoming promotion.
  • Monitoring our online reviews and moderating any that need any response or actions taken. Regular reporting on the performance of reviews and optimising where possible and contacting incentive winners.
  • Supporting the Ecommerce Manager to optimise performance of all third party apps.
  • Ensure that all data and assets are provided to partner websites by the agreed deadlines.
  • Keeping up to date on any trends and have an awareness on the general market which could be opportunities for different collections, marketing or on site development/tests.

Key skills

  • Experience in ecommerce retail, preferably in fashion.
  • Experience of working with a CMS. Shopify+ is highly preferable.
  • Experienced in excel, formatting data and using/creating import templates.
  • Strong organisational skills and time management.
  • Positive problem solver.
  • Capacity to build strong working relationships.
  • Good communicator.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and operate in a fast paced constantly evolving environment, maintaining the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Committed, driven and self-motivated.

Location: Camden, London. 4 day a week, 1 day working from home.
