About the role

The Role

We're looking for an experienced full-time Production Roaster to join our close-knit team on a rolling fixed-term contract for a minimum of 6 months.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced roaster with a minimum of 2 years experience, with a strong focus on quality and passion for their work.

This temporary role will involve taking on a range of responsibilities from roasting coffee, cupping and ensuring we meet our day to day production and operations goals during a busy period for our team.

The role will include but not be limited to

  • Roasting coffee
  • Weighing green coffee in preparation for roasting
  • Contribute to Quality Control - through cupping and other brew methods
  • Blending roasted coffee in preparation for packing
  • Packing roasted coffee
  • Record keeping and data entry
  • General roastery cleaning and maintenance of roasting equipment
  • Receiving green coffee deliveries

Essential Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience as a production roaster
  • Available to start in the role in November 2026
  • Proof of the right to work in the UK
  • Residing within a reasonable commutable distance from our roastery in E17

  • Counterbalance forklift licence (ideal)
