Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, design-driven Showroom Sales Consultant – Decorative Hardware to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in helping customers and design professionals bring their visions to life.

You will work closely with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and commercial clients—guiding them through product selection, quotes, specifications, and project execution while delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales performance.

Please note: This is a fully in-person position and requires weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, designers, and trade partners to understand project needs and recommend decorative hardware solutions that align with design aesthetics, functionality, budget, and timelines.
• Prepare, present, and follow up on quotes to ensure accuracy and drive sales closure.
• Manage all project details including specifications, supplier communication, and order processing with a high level of precision.
• Provide expert guidance on hardware applications, finishes, coordination, and installation practicality.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and trade professionals to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Demonstrate products confidently through professional consultations and detailed explanations.
• Maintain a visually inspiring showroom environment and support visual merchandising initiatives.
• Stay current on product offerings, new launches, industry standards, and design trends.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to departmental growth.
• Actively participate in ongoing product and professional development training.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales, showroom consulting, decorative hardware, interior design, luxury retail, or a related design-focused field.
• Strong knowledge of design principles and the ability to interpret design plans and specifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working toward sales targets.
• Tech-savvy with experience using quoting systems and supplier platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused, customer-centric environment.
