Short-Form Content Creator (TikTok & YouTube Shorts) — Residence Supply
On Site · Miami, FL · Full-Time · 9:00AM – 6:00PM EST
The Role
Residence Supply is hiring an in-house Short-Form Content Creator to make our TikTok and YouTube Shorts channels grow on purpose, not by luck.
We are an eight-figure luxury lighting and architectural hardware company inspired by historic homes, old-world craftsmanship and enduring materials. Solid brass that clicks, patina that ages, light that makes a room. Our short-form videos are already pulling serious views. We want the person who can figure out exactly why, and do it again every single week.
You will own the full loop: spot the trend, write the hook, film it, appear on camera, edit it, post it, read the data and do it better tomorrow. You will publish daily, build repeatable series out of our winners, and hand the best performers to our paid team to scale.
This is not a social media manager role and it is not an agency account. It is a hands-on, high-output creator role for someone with taste, speed and a proven track record of making videos people actually watch to the end.
What You Will Own
- Daily trend research across TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Reels in home, design, renovation, DIY, ASMR and luxury.
- Breaking down every Residence Supply video that outperforms, and turning winners into repeatable series.
- Writing scripts and multiple hook variants for every concept, using our AI script tools as a starting point.
- Presenting on camera and filming hands-only, voiceover and faceless formats at our Miami showroom, warehouse and client projects.
- Batch-filming at least 2 shoot days per week and capturing macro product detail and B-roll.
- Editing natively for 9:16: pacing, captions, on-screen text, sound design, covers and thumbnails, using only commercially licensed audio.
- Publishing daily on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, cross-posting to Instagram Reels, and optimizing titles, descriptions, keywords and links.
- Replying to comments within 24 hours, turning the best questions into reply videos, and routing sales inquiries to the right team.
- Tracking every video in our content tracker, running one-variable tests, and sending a short Friday report.
- Handing organic winners to Performance Marketing for paid testing, and producing launch and Black Friday content.
- Keeping everything on-brand, rights-cleared and archived.
What Success Looks Like
Within 30 days
- Audit the last 90 days of our TikTok and YouTube Shorts and set baselines for median views, % viewed, breakout rate and follower growth.
- Identify our top 10 videos and the formats behind them, and launch 3 repeatable series from them.
- Build an approved backlog of 30 ideas, a batch-shoot schedule and a posting calendar.
- Ramp to 10 original Shorts per week on both platforms with 80% first-pass creative approval.
Within 60 days
- Publish 12–15 original Shorts per week, 90% on schedule.
- Lift median views per Short above the day-30 baseline on both platforms.
- Produce at least 3 breakouts per month (3× channel median within 7 days).
- Hand the first organic winners to Performance Marketing for paid testing.
Within 90 days
- Publish 15 original Shorts per week with a two-week evergreen buffer.
- Reach median views of at least 1.5× the day-30 baseline, with at least 10% of Shorts breaking out.
- Double our monthly net follower and subscriber gain versus baseline.
- Hand at least 4 organic winners per month to Performance Marketing, with at least 2 running as paid tests.
The Person We Want
You have
- 2+ years creating short-form video for a brand, an agency client or your own channel.
- At least 3 videos you personally made with 1M+ views, and proof the success repeated rather than one lucky hit.
- Natural, confident on-camera presence, and the range to also make great faceless and hands-only content.
- Fast, sharp editing skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar. You edit your own work.
- A real understanding of retention: hooks, pacing, loops, payoffs and what the analytics are telling you.
- Taste. You can tell the difference between premium content and generic UGC.
- The discipline to publish daily without the quality slipping.
Strong advantages
- Experience in home, interiors, renovation, DIY, ASMR, design or luxury content.
- Experience turning organic videos into paid ads.
- Product photography or macro filming skills.
- Spanish fluency (useful for Miami audiences and projects).
This Is Not the Role for You If
- Your best video was a one-off and you cannot explain why it worked.
- You need someone else to edit, script or come up with ideas for you.
- You rely on unlicensed trending audio or reposted content.
- You judge success by views alone and ignore whether the audience fits or buys.
- Your style is fake urgency, clickbait that does not pay off, or drop shipping-style ads.
How to Apply
Send your CV with the following list to [email protected]:
1. Links to your 5 best short-form videos that you personally made, with screenshots of views and average % viewed, and your exact role in each.
2. One example of a format or series you repeated successfully, with the numbers.
3. Three video ideas for Residence Supply, each with the hook you would open on.
4. Your editing tools and typical weekly output.
5. Your compensation expectations and availability.
Generic cover letters will not be reviewed. We care about proof, taste and output.
