Role Description CourtAvenue is seeking a Senior Designer, UI to help shape the visual language and user experience across digital platforms. This role sits at the intersection of brand, interface design, and user behavior, translating complex business requirements and user insights into intuitive, engaging digital experiences.

The Senior Designer will play an important role in creating, evolving, and maintaining scalable digital design systems while partnering closely with UX, Product, Copy, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate brings strong visual craft, experience designing across web and mobile platforms, and the ability to communicate design decisions clearly to internal teams, stakeholders, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality digital experiences that balance user needs, business objectives, and brand expression.

• Contribute to the creation, documentation, and evolution of scalable design systems and component libraries.

• Partner with UX designers, copywriters, product teams, developers, and engineers to create cohesive end-to-end experiences.

• Translate complex requirements into intuitive and scalable UI solutions across web, mobile, applications, and emerging digital platforms.

• Design consistent user journeys across omnichannel experiences and touchpoints.

• Develop prototypes to explore interaction models, user flows, and design concepts.

• Apply best practices across UI patterns, responsive design, accessibility, and design systems.

• Present and articulate design concepts and decisions to internal stakeholders and clients.

• Support user testing through prototypes and incorporate research findings into design improvements.

• Maintain a high level of visual craft, consistency, and attention to detail across deliverables.

• Contribute to the continued improvement of internal design processes, standards, and best practices.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional digital product design experience with a strong focus on user interface design in an agency environment

• Strong portfolio demonstrating polished, user-centered digital product and UI design work.

• Advanced proficiency with Figma and experience working with digital design systems and component-driven design methodologies.

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to quickly learn new design tools.

• Strong understanding of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and application-based experiences.

• Experience designing across web, mobile, and other digital platforms.

• Ability to simplify complex business and user problems into intuitive design solutions.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

• Digital agency experience preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience designing products or experiences within highly regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or telecommunications is a plus.

Work Environment

This position follows a structured hybrid work model, with employees working in the office during the middle of the week and remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Candidates will ideally be located near CourtAvenue offices in Los Angeles or San Diego. Candidates near Chicago, Cincinnati, or Minneapolis may also be considered, along with candidates located in Dallas, Austin, or Bentonville.
