Are you passionate about pottery and enjoy working hands-on with clay?
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Potter to join our team. You will be part of our daily production and work closely with other potters and the design team to create high-quality ceramic products.
You are an experienced potter with solid practical experience and a genuine passion for the craft. You enjoy the entire ceramic process from preparing and throwing clay to trimming and bisque firing.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality ceramic products as part of our daily production.
- Work primarily with wheel throwing and other pottery techniques.
- Prepare, trim, and finish pieces to a high standard.
- Handle different stages of the firing process.
- Follow established production methods, quality standards, and workflows.
- Work closely with other potters and the design team on new products and designs.
- Help test new materials, tools, and techniques.
- Keep your workspace organised and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient workshop.
- Contribute to improving production methods and workflows through your practical experience and ideas.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has solid practical experience as a potter or ceramic artist.
- Is confident with wheel throwing and familiar with the different stages of ceramic production.
- Has a good understanding of clay and firing.
- Takes pride in craftsmanship and pays attention to detail.
- Works efficiently and enjoys being part of a busy production environment.
- Is reliable, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Communicates well in English and enjoys working collaboratively with others.
The position is open to anyone who is already located in and able to work in the EU / Denmark.
Work locations: Studio Arhoj HQ (Skindergade 7) and Studio Arhoj Study (Nørregade 7) in downtown Copenhagen.
