ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented and organized Photo Retoucher to join our Creative team. The Photo Retoucher role is a perfect blend of amplifying our brand image through creative editing, and project management skills to ensure projects stay on track and organized. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retouching assets from photographers, ensuring accurate representation of products using a variety of techniques: image cleanup and adjustments, clipping paths, color correction, sizing, and output.
  • Work closely with photographer + senior retoucher to create imagery that accurately represents the product and maintains current quality standards that help define Shinola’s brand image as well as a seamless workflow from approved asset handoff to final image delivery.
  • Participate in image reviews, follow approval processes with deliverables from upper management, and meet all internal deadlines.
  • Prioritize projects within retouching queue, translating requests into actionable tasks and helping schedule them out appropriately.
  • Organize and maintain a user-friendly Creative server + DAM system (Canto) and disperse final assets to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute projects quickly and efficiently.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Helicon Focus, Microsoft Suite, Canto, Figma, Asana, and Capture One Pro.
  • Utilization of AI when applicable.
  • Basic camera and lighting knowledge.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
