About the role

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organised Packaging Designer to join our Design team at BIBS.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the development, artwork setup, and production-ready execution of packaging across our product portfolio. You’ll work across both new packaging developments and ongoing updates, ensuring that every piece of packaging is visually aligned and meets our standards, technically accurate, and aligned with the BIBS brand.

You’ll be part of developing packaging from concept to final production, working closely with Design and key stakeholders across the organisation, as well as external print and production partners.

This is the perfect role if you have a strong eye for packaging design, enjoy working with details, and know how to combine creative thinking with technical precision and structured execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging Artwork & Development

  • Take responsibility for the development and artwork setup of packaging across the BIBS portfolio, including packs, gift sets, flowpacks, folded packs, leaflets, hangers, inlays, care labels, and more.
  • Create and maintain packaging artwork, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with the BIBS visual identity.
  • Manage artwork from initial development through to final production-ready files.

Packaging Design

  • Contribute to the development of new packaging concepts in close collaboration with the Design team.
  • Work with packaging construction, assembly, and overall functionality to create strong and considered packaging solutions.
  • Develop artwork-related elements including information hierarchy, visibility, colour coordination, communication, logo placement, and other graphic details.
  • Ensure that both the visual and functional aspects of the packaging work together across different products and formats.

Artwork Updates & Change Requests

  • Manage ongoing change requests and updates across existing packaging.
  • Ensure that changes are implemented accurately and consistently across relevant artworks and packaging formats.
  • Maintain an overview of current and updated packaging versions.

Print & Production

  • Prepare all packaging artwork for print and production.
  • Ensure files meet technical requirements and are correctly set up before being released to suppliers.
  • Manage communication with print and packaging suppliers regarding artwork, files, print specifications, and production.
  • Review and approve new print productions as well as updated versions following change requests.
  • Ensure a high level of quality and consistency throughout the production process.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders responsible for the content and requirements of packaging artwork.
  • Collaborate across Legal & Compliance, Sales, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Product, and Design.
  • Coordinate input and feedback from multiple stakeholders and translate this into clear and accurate packaging artwork.
  • Work closely with the Head of Design to ensure packaging is aligned with the overall BIBS brand and design direction.

About you

  • You have experience within graphic design, packaging design, artwork production, or a similar role.
  • You have strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
  • You understand print production and know how to prepare technically correct, production-ready artwork.
  • You have a strong eye for typography, layout, colour, hierarchy, and visual consistency.
  • You are highly detail-oriented and comfortable working with packaging that contains a large amount of information and technical requirements.
  • You are organised and able to manage several artworks, deadlines, and stakeholders at the same time.
  • You enjoy taking ownership and following projects all the way from development to final production.
  • You are comfortable communicating directly with suppliers and coordinating feedback across different teams.
  • You work well both independently and as part of a collaborative creative environment.
  • You have strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Why join us?

At BIBS, you’ll be part of a fast-growing, design-led global brand where design plays a central role in everything we do.

You’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with packaging across a broad product portfolio and take ownership of projects from early development through to final production. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Design, Product, Marketing, Sales, and other key functions, giving you the opportunity to influence how the BIBS brand comes to life across markets and products.

If you combine a strong design eye with technical precision, enjoy taking ownership, and care about getting every detail right, we’d love to hear from you.

If you have any questions about the position, please feel free to contact Michell Berthou Head of Design at [email protected]
