About the role
The Marketplace Merchandiser is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the marketplace business through product data management, content syndication, digital asset administration, and website quality audits. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and compelling product content across multiple online retail partners and marketplaces.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in managing large product catalogs. They will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, E-commerce, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support to ensure product information, digital assets, and merchandising content are accurate, complete, and optimized for marketplace performance.

Essential Job Functions
Coordinate product data integration and content syndication to retailer and marketplace platforms.
Ensure product attributes, specifications, imagery, videos, and enhanced content are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with retailer requirements.
Support product launches, assortment updates, and catalog maintenance initiatives.
Conduct routine website audits across marketplace and retailer partner sites.
Create and maintain reports, trackers, and dashboards to monitor content accuracy and marketplace readiness.
Work with internal and external partners to resolve content issues and improve the online customer experience.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to ensure content consistency and product readiness.
Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to content workflows, data quality, and marketplace operations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, E-commerce, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2-5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, product content management, or marketplace support.
Proven ability to manage large datasets accurately.
Hands-on experience with Salsify or similar Product Information Management (PIM) platform.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and reporting.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills:
Preferred Skills
Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central.
Familiarity with Amazon A+ Content and marketplace content requirements.
Experience supporting additional marketplaces such as Walmart, Target Plus, Home Depot, Lowe's, or Wayfair.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce product pages.
Experience with digital asset management (DAM) systems and content syndication platforms.
