Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Translate global category and brand campaigns into a regionally relevant marketing plan
- Participate in the Annual Planning Process; provide local market insights and voice-of-customer input to Global
- Own the regional marketing calendar, aligning with the Regional Sales Director and shared cross-functional calendar
- Conduct ongoing gap analysis to identify market-specific opportunities (new technology adoption, channel whitespace, competitive dynamics)
Campaign & Content Execution
- Execute global product and category campaigns locally-adapting creative, messaging, and channel mix for regional relevance
- Create and manage regional marketing content across relevant platforms (social, digital, events, trade)
- Maintain and grow SRAM's presence on regionally influential media and social platforms
- Manage brand reputation locally: monitor sentiment, respond to issues, and amplify positive stories
Events, Sponsorships & Local Activation
- Plan and execute regional launch events, trade shows, dealer/retailer programs, community rides, and race sponsorships
- Identify, prioritize, and manage local athletes, key opinion leaders, ambassadors, and cycling teams in alignment with global standards
- Support SRAM-owned and customer events, including booth setup, experience bikes, and rider support
Sales & Channel Alignment
- Work hand-in-hand with the Regional Sales Director to align marketing activity with sales priorities and GTM execution
- Support local OEM relationships; leverage local dealer and distribution partnerships to amplify campaigns
- Communicate new product information and launch plans to distributors, key OEM brands, and dealers
- Support technical training activities and product knowledge clinics in the region
Measurement & Reporting
- Deliver regional marketing KPIs as defined within the global KPI framework
- Monitor, report, and optimize regional marketing performance; surface insights back to Global Marketing
- Provide regular feedback through shared feedback loops and governance structure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a regional or field marketing role
- Experience in the cycling, outdoor, or action sports industry strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Willingness to travel regionally (~30–40%) and flexibility for event-driven schedules
