Marketing Manager

About the role

TYPEBEA is the leading hair growth brand globally, founded in 2024 and present in 29 countries. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to own day-to-day delivery across brand, marketing and communications, across DTC and retail.

This is a hands-on, mid-level role with real ownership: an optimise-and-deliver role, not a support one. The key strategy and annual plans are in place. You'll take them, optimise them and execute them to a high standard, with real autonomy from early on.

You'll run launches, campaigns and partners end to end, make the day-to-day calls, and keep the business moving across markets as part of a small, globally distributed team. It suits a commercially sharp, decisive, creative and highly organised marketer who is as comfortable presenting to a retailer or briefing an agency as getting into the detail of a launch plan, who operates like a brand builder and is happy to step outside their remit when the business needs it.

Key responsibilities:

Brand & Product

  • Work with internal teams, suppliers and manufacturers on new and existing product and packaging development, leading marketing input on concept, positioning, target consumer, competitors and claims.
  • Translate clinical and scientific substantiation into accessible consumer messaging and brand storytelling
  • Execute and optimise the annual brand marketing plan against business objectives, adjusting activity as performance and priorities shift.
  • Act as guardian of TYPEBEA's brand identity (tone of voice, visual world and brand codes), ensuring consistency across every consumer touchpoint and market.
  • Brief the graphic designer on all brand, marketing and retail outputs, managing internal stakeholders and timelines.
  • Project manage GWP planning and delivery.

Marketing & Communications

  • Campaign Planning & Calendar: own marketing campaign planning and the calendar, developing and optimising the 2027 plans with digital, social and commercial teams, and sequencing campaigns across launches, key trading moments and channels.
  • GTM: Take project ownership of go-to-market plans for launches: timelines, briefs, assets, activity and campaign analysis.
  • Content: In line with the annual content calendar, play a pivotal role in content optimisation and output across owned channels, briefing creative and managing work through to approval.
  • Influencer & UGC: Lead influencer management end to end and work alongside digital teams to project manage UGC campaigns.
  • Affiliate: Own the day-to-day running of our global affiliate programme alongside digital teams, driving strong growth in performance. Recruit and build relationships with affiliates and creators, plan activity around launches and key trading moments, optimise commission and incentives.
  • Eventing & Community: Deliver brand eventing, activations and community moments and consumer trials end to end. Build a brand community in key markets.
  • Partnerships: Manage brand partnerships and collaborations from negotiation support through to delivery, supporting social teams, and aligning with digital teams.
  • Comms: Be the day-to-day lead for market communications agencies (when engaged on a project basis around NPD or market launches / Founder visits), driving results across media, talent, partnerships, eventing and Founder comms.
  • Founder Comms: Support founder-led communications as and when required, including schedules, briefings, talking points and content for press, social and events.
  • Social: Support the development of the social content plans.

Multi-Market & Retail

  • When required, be a global brand and marketing contact for key retail partners (e.g. Sephora etc).
  • Work alongside the sales teams to develop and present the bi-annual retailer plans.
  • Support and feed into trade marketing plans.

Ways of Working

  • Act as day-to-day lead for brand, marketing and comms delivery, making decisions independently and escalating where needed.
  • Represent marketing to senior leadership, founders and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage relevant agency and freelance partners and guide junior team members.
  • Think entrepreneurially: find smarter ways to improve ROI, embrace AI and challenge the status quo.

What you bring

  • 5–7 years' brand marketing experience, ideally within beauty, personal care, wellness or another premium/FMCG category.
  • Hands-on experience across the full mix: brand, campaigns, PR and comms, influencer and affiliate, and retail marketing.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; experience with founders, creators or talent is a strong plus.

Who you are

  • Connected to beauty culture, with a genuine passion for the hair and beauty industry.
  • A proactive self-starter who can take a direction and deliver it.
  • Highly organised and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Agile and willing to step in across the business.
  • Flexible across time zones.
  • Comfortable being in front of and behind the camera for social and educational content.
  • Driven by the adoption of AI to improve practices and drive growth.
