Machine Operator
About the role
We're looking for a motivated and organized individual to operate some of the machine equipment at Black Forest Industries. Do you like to create? Do you like to see things go from raw material to finished product in your hands, or right in front of you? We need a passionate and creative individual with an interest in manufacturing who would like to be a part of creating Black Forest Industries products every day. Prior knowledge is not required but pay is based on experience. Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Daily Responsibilities
- Set up, manage, and teardown machining setups for Haas VF2SS and VF3SS vertical Mills.
- Cut, clean, and deburr raw material with a CNC bandsaw, as well as help maintain its functionality.
- Set up, load, and operate a CNC laser cutter.
- Set up, and bend sheet metal with a CNC press brake.
- Set up, manage, clean and 3D printing/laser etching.
- Sand, ultrasonically clean and hand finish parts created by CNC mill/laser cutter.
- Keep a clean and productive workspace.
