Come and lead our team

We're looking for an enthusiastic and capable Store Manager to lead our Leeds store.

As Store Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the shop, leading and supporting the team to deliver excellent customer service and ensuring the store is welcoming, well organised and performing at its best.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in creating a great customer experience and is confident in taking responsibility for both the team and the commercial performance of the store.

what you'll be doing

You'll have overall responsibility for the smooth and successful running of the store. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the shop team to deliver consistently excellent customer service.
  • Managing and supporting team members, including rotas, holidays, staff reviews and day-to-day people matters.
  • Organising the team and delegating tasks to ensure everything that needs to happen each day is completed effectively.
  • Creating a positive, supportive and productive working environment where people can perform at their best.
  • Coaching and developing team members, including new starter training and ongoing development.
  • Helping the team build their product knowledge so they can confidently advise and inspire our customers.
  • Monitoring store performance and looking for opportunities to increase sales and achieve targets.
  • Handling escalated customer queries, refunds and complaints professionally and positively.
  • Communicating relevant information between the Senior Management team and the store team.
  • Maintaining high standards of store presentation and organisation.
  • Working with our Health & Safety Officer to ensure the store remains compliant, including completing regular fire and risk assessments.

We're looking for someone who combines great customer service with strong organisational and people-management skills. Previous supervisory experience required.

  • Knowledgeable and curious. You'll have an interest in one or more of the product areas we sell and enjoy developing your knowledge. You'll keep up to date with new products and relevant industry trends and encourage your team to do the same.
  • A strong communicator. You'll communicate clearly and accurately with both your team and Senior Management. You'll be comfortable giving positive and constructive feedback and sharing ideas about how we could improve the way we work.
  • A confident leader. You'll take responsibility, lead by example and be able to support and motivate team members to perform at their best and reach their full potential. You'll be comfortable delegating, managing different situations and having difficult conversations when necessary.

Above all, you'll help build positive working relationships and create an environment where the team works well together.
