About the role
Hi there 👋 We're Wild. We set out to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom and ended up building one of the fastest-growing personal care brands in Europe. Our refillable, natural deodorant is now in millions of hands, our cases are collected like accessories, and our collaborations - from Disney to seasonal scent drops - keep the brand fresh, playful and impossible to ignore. Now part of the Unilever family, we have the backing to go global while keeping the pace, ambition and mischief of a start-up.
As Account Manager – Distributors, you’ll play an important role in growing Wild across international markets, working closely with our international sales team, and with a network of distribution partners.
You’ll manage a portfolio of international distributor accounts across markets including Australia, the Nordics, Ireland and Eastern Europe, helping our partners grow Wild across retail and pharmacy channels.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has built a strong foundation in sales or account management, whether at an Account Executive or Junior Account Manager level, and is ready to take the next step in their career and gain more ownership. You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day commercial performance of your markets, while being supported by the International Sales Director and wider team on broader strategy, major negotiations and new market opportunities.
You’ll get exposure to the full international commercial journey, from account management and forecasting through to promotional planning, new product launches and market expansion, with plenty of opportunity to grow your scope as the business scales.
Distributor Ownership: Take ownership of sales performance and P&Ls across your markets, tracking KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve growth. Optimize product ranges per region to maximize distributor success.
Strategic Direction: Support the International Sales Director to define regional growth strategies. Build long-term market plans, align business goals internally, and secure the resources needed to win.
Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with existing distributors and partners as Wild expands across personal care categories.
Data Analytics & Commercials: Leverage EPOS, market trends, and competitor insights to identify growth opportunities. Oversee promotional/pricing plans, track ROI, and refine strategies based on performance data.
Market Expansion & Negotiation: Identify top-tier regional partners and new expansion channels. Develop standardized blueprints for distributor onboarding, wholesale expansion, and pharmacy entry.
Pharmacy Channel Growth: Build out the pharmacy/drugstore footprint alongside key wholesalers and distributors, defining tailored Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies per country.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Product teams to launch campaigns, ensure inventory availability, and clear operational roadblocks before they impact sales.
Forecasting & Reporting: Drive accurate sales forecasts, manage performance KPIs, and deliver monthly and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
Experience: 2-4 years in account management, sales or commercial roles, ideally within FMCG, retail or consumer goods (international retail experience strongly preferred).
Track Record: Experience managing customer, retail, wholesale or distributor relationships, with a strong focus on building great partnerships.
Commercial Acumen: Experience managing a full retail P&L, negotiating commercial terms, and optimizing margins.
Growth Mindset: Excited by the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop into a senior international commercial role.
Data Fluency: Experience working with sales forecasting models, EPOS data, and retail analytics.
Language Skills: Bilingual capabilities are a strong advantage.
