About the Role

Infantino is seeking a strategic and technically strong Director of Product Development, Baby Gear to lead our global baby gear product development organization. This leadership role is responsible for driving innovation, engineering excellence, commercialization, and portfolio growth across our Baby Gear category while partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Manufacturing teams. The position leads product development efforts from concept through commercialization and plays a critical role in shaping the future of Infantino's product portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the Baby Gear product development roadmap and innovation pipeline.
  • Oversee the development of products from concept through commercialization, ensuring products meet performance, cost, timing, quality, and margin objectives.
  • Drive innovative, consumer-focused solutions that differentiate the Infantino brand and support category growth.
  • Provide technical leadership in product design, engineering, cost optimization, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and executive leadership to identify market opportunities and deliver winning products.
  • Lead retailer line review support, customer presentations, product costing, and commercialization activities.
  • Champion intellectual property development, including patents and design protection strategies.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing global product development team across the U.S. and Hong Kong.
  • Identify and resolve technical, engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing challenges while maintaining accelerated development timelines.
  • Promote best practices, product lifecycle management (PLM), and continuous improvement across the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Significant product development leadership experience within juvenile products, consumer products, durable goods, or similar hard goods categories.
  • Strong engineering background with the ability to evaluate product mechanisms, materials, construction methods, and manufacturing solutions.
  • Proven success leading products from concept through launch.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience balancing innovation, consumer needs, cost, margin, and business objectives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional and global teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project leadership skills.
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners and global development teams is highly desirable.
