About the role

Job Description: Creative Strategist

Role Details

  • Role: Creative Strategist
  • Location: Noida
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Experience: 2–5 years
  • Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required

Role Overview:

As a Creative Strategist, you will shape how the brand thinks, communicates, and connects with consumers. You will be responsible for developing original creative ideas, crafting compelling narratives, and translating consumer insights and cultural trends into distinctive brand communication.

Ideation and writing are the two most important parts of this role. This is not just a social media management position. We are looking for someone who can think independently, spot interesting angles in everyday life, turn observations into compelling content ideas, and write copy that makes people stop scrolling.

You will develop creative concepts, shape brand storytelling, and guide the execution of ideas across digital platforms, campaigns, and creator collaborations. Working closely with founders, internal teams, agencies, and content creators, you will help build a distinctive brand voice and create content that captures attention, sparks conversations, and drives engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Ideation, Strategy and Writing

  • Generate Original Ideas: Develop fresh, distinctive, and engaging ideas for social media, campaigns, brand storytelling, Reels, Shorts, carousels, and other digital formats.
  • Think Like a Consumer: Understand everyday food habits, consumer behaviour, cultural nuances, and the role of protein in Indian diets to identify interesting storytelling opportunities.
  • Own Creative Strategy: Develop and execute content strategies across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms, aligned with brand positioning and business objectives.
  • Write Exceptional Copy: Create sharp, witty, conversational, and culturally relevant copy for captions, scripts, campaign concepts, social posts, and brand communication.
  • Build Strong Narratives: Translate nutritional science, product benefits, customer insights, and everyday experiences into simple, entertaining, and relatable stories.
  • Develop the Brand Voice: Establish and maintain a distinctive tone of voice that is energetic, modern, transparent, and consistent across customer touchpoints.
  • Identify Cultural Opportunities: Monitor internet culture, memes, trending audio, topical conversations, and emerging formats to identify opportunities for timely, relevant content.
  • Experiment with Creative Formats: Test different ideas, hooks, storytelling styles, and content formats to understand what resonates with audiences.
  • Build Repeatable Content Properties: Develop recognisable content series and creative formats that strengthen brand recall and give audiences reasons to return.
  • Use Insights to Improve Ideas: Track relevant performance metrics, including reach, engagement, shares, saves, and audience feedback, to refine creative thinking and future content.

2. Creative Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Take Ideas from Concept to Execution: Own the creative process from initial ideation and briefing to scripting, production, review, and final delivery.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with founders, marketing, design, and other stakeholders to align creative ideas with brand priorities and business goals.
  • Manage External Creative Partners: Coordinate with agencies, designers, photographers, video editors, production teams, and freelancers to bring concepts to life.
  • Create Clear Creative Briefs: Communicate the objective, target audience, key message, tone, visual direction, references, and expected deliverables.
  • Provide Creative Direction: Guide internal and external teams on storytelling, messaging, visual execution, and content quality.
  • Manage Timelines and Deliverables: Coordinate content calendars, production schedules, reviews, approvals, and campaign deadlines.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure every creative asset reflects company's positioning, voice, and quality standards.
  • Balance Speed with Quality: Work efficiently in a fast-moving startup environment while responding to emerging opportunities without compromising creative quality.

3. Creator Management and Ideation

  • Identify the Right Creators: Research and identify influencers, food creators, nutrition communicators, and other relevant voices who align with company's brand and target audience.
  • Develop Creator-Led Concepts: Generate original ideas for creator collaborations, product integrations, campaigns, and storytelling formats that feel authentic rather than overly promotional.
  • Write Creator Briefs and Scripts: Translate campaign objectives into clear creative briefs, scripts, talking points, and content directions while allowing creators to retain their individual styles.
  • Manage Creator Collaborations: Coordinate with creators and their teams on concepts, deliverables, timelines, feedback, revisions, and publishing schedules.
  • Maintain Brand and Messaging Accuracy: Review creator content to ensure product claims, messaging, brand positioning, and creative execution meet the required standards.
  • Identify Emerging Opportunities: Track new creators, relevant communities, and content formats that can help the brand reach new audiences.
  • Evaluate Creator Content: Review the performance of creator collaborations and use learnings to improve future concepts, briefs, and campaigns.

Who You Are (Requirements)

  • Relevant Experience: 2–5 years of experience in creative strategy, content ideation, copywriting, or brand storytelling, preferably with D2C, consumer, food, lifestyle, or other consumer-facing brands.
  • A Strong Creative Thinker: You can generate original ideas, identify interesting angles in everyday situations, and turn simple observations into engaging concepts.
  • An Excellent Writer: You have a strong command of language and can write compelling hooks, scripts, captions, campaign concepts, and conversational copy.
  • Consumer and Culture Awareness: You understand internet culture, digital consumer behaviour, social trends, and what makes content relevant, engaging, and shareable.
  • A Strong Sense of Storytelling: You know how to simplify complex ideas, communicate product benefits, and make brand communication feel human and relatable.
  • Creative Collaboration Skills: You can communicate ideas clearly and work effectively with founders, internal teams, agencies, and creators.
  • Ownership Mindset: You can take responsibility for an idea from initial thought to final execution, managing feedback and timelines along the way.
  • Comfort with Experimentation: You are willing to test unconventional ideas, learn from performance, and continuously improve your creative approach.
  • Startup Mindset: You are proactive, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to help build a brand's creative playbook from the ground up.

Benefits and Perks

  • Comprehensive Health Insurance: Medical coverage to support you and your family's well-being.
  • Hybrid Work Flexibility: A hybrid working model based out of our Noida office.
  • Healthy Workplace Fuel: Access to high-protein, clean-label snacks, upcoming product launches, and test-kitchen samples.
  • Ownership and Growth: Direct access to founders and leadership, with opportunities to take ownership and grow alongside a rapidly scaling startup.
