About the role

We’re hiring a Creative Strategist at JoySpring!

Great hooks drive sales, but they don’t last forever. Today, too much of our growth depends on a handful of top-performing videos. We’re looking for someone who can change that. You’ll build a system that consistently finds, tests and proves new hooks for our key products across TikTok Shop and Meta, so that when one hook slows down, the next one is already ready to go.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

  • The bench: Keep 7–12 proven, not-yet-run hooks for every priority SKU. Source them from what’s already selling for other brands and adjacent categories. When a running hook fades, its replacement is live within 14 days.
  • The testing machine: Run one weekly loop. Research, then slideshows as a free first filter, then retainer creators saying the hook word for word, then GMV Max behind what sticks, then scale. You’ll test 15+ hooks a month and log a verdict for every one.
  • Winners that sell: Graduate 2 hooks a month to GMV Max with our TikTok Manager. Grow the share of affiliate GMV that comes from new hooks.
  • Meta: Bring TikTok-proven hooks to Instagram and Facebook with our DTC Manager. You’ll read results on Fospha, not platform ROAS alone.
  • Trends: Stay on top of what’s moving on TikTok and Instagram, and turn it into hooks before our products go stale.
  • The tester pool: Recruit, brief and manage 6+ retainer creators in English and Spanish. Keep word-for-word compliance at 90% or higher.
  • Research: Every quarter, do voice-of-customer and competitor deep dives on each priority SKU. That means TikTok winners watched frame by frame, Amazon reviews, Reddit and parent forums. Once a month, present a read on what’s working on TikTok.

THE IDEAL BACKGROUND INCLUDES

  • You’re fluent in English and Spanish.
  • You have deep, hands-on TikTok Shop experience. You know affiliate vs. GMV Max, slideshows as a cheap test, retainers, and why a creator’s own audience barely matters.
  • You study content closely. You can break down what happens in the first 3 seconds of a video: the opening line, the on-screen text and who’s on camera.
  • You write hooks that are short, in first person and built around a real struggle, so any creator can deliver them naturally.
  • You make decisions with data. You know when a hook is working, when to drop it and what replaces it.
  • You understand the claim rules for kids’ wellness products: no diagnosis words, no promises.
  • Bonus: experience with Meta creative testing and tools like Kalodata, Euka or Panoramata.

If you enjoy finding the hook before anyone else does, and proving it with numbers, we’d love to connect!
