About Dr. Water

Dr. Water is a science-backed hydration company building products designed to help people perform at their best every day. From hydrogen water bottles to hydration solutions, we combine innovation, design, and research to create products for modern lifestyles.

We're building an ambitious consumer brand from India for the global market, with the US as a key market. This is an opportunity to be part of a team building a global brand from the ground up, where creative work directly influences how people discover, perceive, and buy our products.

The Opportunity

We're looking for someone who goes beyond editing videos.

Someone who understands why certain ads convert, why some content gets shared, what makes people stop scrolling, and how to turn those insights into better creative.

You'll work closely with the founders and growth team to shape Dr. Water's creative direction across Meta ads, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms. You'll analyse winning creatives, develop new concepts, edit videos, experiment with formats, and help build our social media presence.

This isn't a role where you'll simply receive a brief and edit a video. We want someone who can question the brief, bring new ideas to the table, understand what's working in the market, and take ownership of the creative process from concept to execution.

You're not just joining as a video editor. You're helping build a global consumer brand.

What You'll Do

1. Creative Strategy & Meta Ads

  • Analyse Meta ad creatives to understand hooks, messaging, storytelling, formats, offers, and creative patterns that drive performance.
  • Study competitor ads, emerging trends, and successful D2C brands to identify opportunities for Dr. Water.
  • Develop new ad concepts, angles, hooks, and scripts for different customer segments and stages of the buying journey.
  • Work with the growth team to develop creative variations, test different approaches, and iterate based on performance data.
  • Understand metrics such as CTR, thumb-stop rate, watch time, and conversion rate to help identify what makes a creative effective.
  • Build a repeatable creative testing process rather than relying on guesswork or trends alone.

2. Video Editing & Content Production

  • Edit high-quality short-form videos for Meta ads, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Create UGC-style ads, product demonstrations, founder-led content, testimonials, and brand storytelling videos.
  • Turn raw footage from creators, founders, and product shoots into compelling, platform-native content.
  • Develop strong hooks, pacing, captions, motion graphics, sound design, and storytelling that hold attention.
  • Repurpose existing footage into multiple creative variations for organic and paid distribution.
  • Contribute to video concepts and scripts before production begins, not just during editing.

3. Social Media & Brand Building

  • Help plan, create, and publish content across Dr. Water's social media channels.
  • Identify content formats and trends that fit the brand, adapting them to our products and audience rather than blindly copying trends.
  • Maintain a consistent visual identity and tone across organic content and advertising.
  • Monitor content performance and use insights to improve future posts.
  • Take ownership of the creative quality and consistency of our social media presence.

4. Creative Ownership & Experimentation

  • Bring ideas proactively and take projects from concept to final execution.
  • Experiment with new creative formats, storytelling styles, and ways to communicate our product's value.
  • Collaborate with founders, creators, designers, and the growth team to turn ideas into finished assets.
  • Keep up with internet culture, advertising trends, and evolving social platform formats.
  • Help build the creative playbook that will shape how Dr. Water markets its products globally.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in video editing, creative production, or social-first content, ideally with D2C brands, consumer brands, creators, or agencies.
  • A strong portfolio of short-form videos, paid ad creatives, or social content that demonstrates both editing ability and creative thinking.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing tools.
  • A strong understanding of hooks, retention, storytelling, pacing, and platform-native content.
  • An interest in performance marketing and the ability to think about why an ad works, not just how it looks.
  • Familiarity with Meta ads, creative testing, or advertising performance metrics is a strong plus.
  • Good creative instincts, curiosity, and the ability to turn observations into actionable ideas.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and move quickly without compromising quality.
  • Strong attention to detail and a bias towards execution.

Most importantly, we value creative thinking and ownership. You don't need to know everything about performance marketing on day one, but you should be curious about what drives results and eager to learn, experiment, and improve.

Why Join Dr. Water?

  • Build a global brand: Help grow an ambitious consumer brand from India in the US and other international markets.
  • Work close to the founders: Your ideas will have a direct influence on the brand, its creative direction, and how we reach customers.
  • Own more than one function: Work across video, advertising, creative strategy, and social media rather than being limited to editing briefs.
  • See the impact of your work: Connect creative decisions with real audience engagement and business outcomes.
  • Room to grow: Build skills across creative strategy, performance marketing, and brand building as the company scales.
  • If you enjoy making great videos but also find yourself thinking about why an ad works, how a brand communicates, or what you would test next, we'd love to hear from you.
