Performance Creative Strategist
The role
Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)
Annual salary + bonus and benefits
Are you a creative strategist who loves turning data into great ideas? We're looking for a Performance Creative Strategist to join our new Marketing Operations team and shape how Haven scales our paid digital creative. You'll drive the testing, the thinking, and the learning – working across channels including Meta, Google, TikTok, and beyond to build paid creative that enables us to quickly scale effective ideas and retire underperforming ones. If you're commercially minded, curious about what works, and ready to bridge the gap between creative excellence and performance results, let's talk.
What you will be doing
- Testing and strategy – Driving testing for paid creative across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other platforms, developing structured hypotheses around messaging, format, visuals, and audience relevance
- Creative briefing and Production – Working closely with internal and external teams to translate ideas into practical, scalable assets. Define workflows and prompts for AI tools to ensure reliable outputs
- Performance analysis - Reviewing paid creative performance regularly, analysing results to identify what's working and what isn't, then building a test-and-learn rhythm rather than reactive changes
- Learning and scaling - Identifying winning creative patterns and scaling them faster, retiring underperforming work quickly, and capturing learnings so they're reused rather than rediscovered
What we’d like you to bring
- Performance creative strategy - Strong experience in performance creative strategy, paid social creative, growth creative, or performance marketing environments, with a solid understanding of paid creative across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other auction-based channels
- Creative hypothesis and testing - Proven ability to develop creative hypotheses, testing plans, and structured learning agendas, with a test-and-learn mindset rather than reactive approaches
- Data interpretation - Ability to interpret performance data and turn insights into better creative direction, identifying what's working, what isn't, and what should change next
- Briefing and communication - Strong briefing and communication skills, with confidence articulating creative rationale and working across media, brand, design, and production teams
- AI and automation - Experience working with AI tools and in highly automated environments, plus familiarity with high-volume consumer sectors (travel, hospitality, leisure, retail) would be valuable
What’s In It For You?
- ‘Holiday Buy Scheme’
- Annual bonus
- Generous discounts on both Haven and Warner Hotels holiday for you, family and friends
- Comprehensive wellbeing support
- Exclusive discounts with corporate partners
- Exciting career pathways, including Learning and Development opportunities such as Apprenticeships and Degrees
- Enhanced family friendly policies and pay (eligibility criteria applied)
