Creative Strategist Intern

At Kontrah Labs, we work with ambitious D2C and ecommerce brands to drive growth through performance marketing, creative intelligence, analytics, and strategy.

We’re looking for a Creative Strategist Intern who can turn ideas into scroll-stopping ads, Reels, videos, and creatives — and understands that a great creative needs to perform, not just look good.

What You’ll Do

• Research trends, competitors, audiences, and winning ad creatives.
• Develop creative concepts, ad angles, hooks, and campaign ideas for D2C brands.
• Create static ads, carousels, Reels, short-form videos, and UGC-style content.
• Write hooks, scripts, headlines, CTAs, and ad copy.
• Create briefs for designers and video editors.
• Use AI tools for ideas, scripts, visuals, videos, and creative variations.
• Analyze ad performance and use insights to improve future creatives.
• Work closely with the performance marketing team to test and iterate new ideas.

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong creative thinking and a good eye for design, aesthetics, and storytelling.
• Understanding of social media, digital advertising, and D2C/ecommerce.
• Interest or experience in graphic design, video editing, Reels, and short-form content.
• Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, Figma, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
• Comfortable using ChatGPT and other AI image/video/content tools.
• Ability to come up with multiple concepts, hooks, and creative angles.
• Curious about why a creative performs, not just how it looks.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, experimental, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable and expressive on camera — this is essential.
